18 February 12 | 10 notes

Last February 8 and 13 was the Philippine press premiere night of the movies “Safe House” and “Hugo”, respectively.

I was invited for the reason that they’re currently in tie-up with Tumblr Pilipinas (In which I am currently the Founder and Head Director) in promoting Hollywood’s biggest films for 2012.

Safe House” staring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds is all about suspense and action. It is more on about money, corruption, government, love and sabotage. Walang boring scenes. As in, your eyes will be glued in the screen since if you’ll snap out of it, you’d missed a lot of important details already.

On the other hand, “Hugo” is a film about films. I love how they focused about the arts and culture on how the films were created way back in the 40’s or 50’s. Though I wan’t able to understand the first few parts of the film since I missed almost 30 minutes of it. My sincerest amazement to the writer of the story for making it very much interesting.

And oh.. I was actually planning to do a “serious” movie review about this but I guess it is really not my “thing”. So I guess my comments in a perspective of a “normal” movie goer is enough for you to appreciate the films that we’re promoting.

Every month, we’ll be giving away some Philippine press premiere night movie tickets to the members of Tumblr Pilipinas! So don’t forget to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr for the latest news and updates!
