Build your standards in accordance to yourself.

Some people don’t like competition because it makes them work harder, better.
- Drew Carey

We are living in a world of competition. Either in work, school, family, circle of friends and the list will get longer if I have to mention them all.

The need to compete with the society seems to be an addiction that can never be cured. But come to think of it, why don’t we just stop for a minute, close our eyes and ponder that our greatest enemy is ourselves

We should set standards in accordance to ourselves. Not because of someone or somebody. Not because he/she is much more better than you. We have to keep on challenging ourselves in everything that we do.

If not, what’s the sense of your unique identity? Your unique talents and capabilities? Don’t waste it! Do something more than what you can do right now!

A vision is not just a picture of what could be; it is an appeal to our better selves, a call to become something more.
